Maybe that was it. Then again my comp is not the best although every other mmo i've played, most recently Guild Wars 2, I've never had a lag issue. So I'm assuming it was probably the servers/masssive amount of people.

I had zero lag, in any situation.

Question, aside from the usual PrintScreen -> Paint -> Paste, is there any other, more efficient way, to take screenshots?

I used Fraps to take mine.

FFXIV itself does actually save screenshots to a folder somewhere though.

Yeah, PrintScreen for me took screenshots in the old FFXIV, they went into the FFXIV folder within My Games.

I actually physically can't continue on the Beta right now because there's an instanced battle story quest that only accepts 5 people at a time and tells you to line-up for it... this is the line right now xD

Is it weird that hearing about that kind of stuff makes me more interested in the game than hearing about the latest armor set or monster design?

Not sure if it's just a culture difference as I was playing on a JP realm then. But yeah the line stayed there for about 2 hours until some people got impatient and just ran to the front and then others followed and then it broke for everyone xD

Nope. This one screenshot makes me more interested in the game than any of the trailers or whatnot. The people in FFXI were always the best part of the game.

The idea that people would have their characters stand politely in line is just about the best thing ever.
