I had respect for you BoB but now... Does SK realise you enjoy watching mostly naked, muscley men pretend to slap each others bodies?
I made one myself for a change! Although you can probably tell that..

I don't think I've played it since we met, actually. Not sure. But I'll see your mostly naked, muscly men and raise you one Stacey Keibler and one Maria Kanellis.

Gunbound was pure comedy, I wish they hadn't made it trout with Gunbound 2. would enjoy going back and rinsing it again sometime, although for me probably won't be the same without yvnge 'cause we sunk hours and hours into that game long after most of the effoff crew had abandoned ship. We were actually shockingly good at it as well (although still terrible plenty of the time.) Got some good memories!

Oh man, Gunbound was an awesomely fun game. Playing with you and Dan and Nic and Spatty and others was great fun. I still remember the game when you inadvertently killed yourself twice with a smile. Definitely one of the most enjoyable multiplayer experiences I've had on the computer.

Also, I can't help but notice that in the past 5 days, where I've posted the speeches and results for 50+ awards, BoB has posted... 3 games.

    i still love you daniel

    Playstation 2, 2005

This list is starting to become "Good times with Dan" at the moment, and this is a killer game for us two. There's something special about cricket games, the completely obscure things you can manage to do with them and the insanely stupid ways you can get a really average person to become the best person in the entire world. I don't know, this was really all about just pure cricket fun with me and Dan. The rest of you guys, Manus excepted, won't really get it, probably. But I loved this game and had some of the best times playing it. So much fun.

I never actually played a cricket game. Which is odd considering the amount of Tiger Woods and other sports games I used to play with my Dad.

There are drinks breaks, I think, but I'm pretty sure they skip the actual wait.

    87. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
    PC, 2006

This game I loved and got annoyed at in equal measure. When I first played it, it was great. Then as I leveled up, and I started going through all these motions... it got really drab really fast. It wasn't until I replayed it years later with it modded to Hell Oblivion and back that I really got to feel this game's greatness. My biggest annoyances were the enemy leveling system, the lack of variation in the areas/regions and the terrible Uncanny Valley stuff it had going on. Once I could get past these things it was a very enjoyable game and I'm glad that I got back to it eventually and played all the way through the storyline.

Oblivion was one of those games where I looked down on it for years like how could that be any fun, snobbishly playing my jrpgs. But when I finally tried it on pc it was a pretty special experience. All the gameplay elements introduced in the beginning had me feeling like I could do all these for a good 30 hours or so. But when I stepped outside that sewer was when I knew this was going to be something special from the beauty and realistic topography in the land. It gave off the wonder that there were hundreds of adventures to be had out there and when I was in my 60th, 70th, 80th hour of gameplay I was consistently surprised with just how imaginative and unique the quests were. I don't know of any game with the kind of depth and breadth of fantasy quests to match Oblivion but I'm really hoping Skyrim hits the same mark for me. It seems to be an Elder Scrolls curse that fans of one game don't like the immediately next installment.

I also really have to give it up to the dungeon design. The traps and puzzles and door switches and vertical layout made me really feel for the first time in a video game that I was inside a dungeon straight out of D&D.

Lastly, the mods really are something special and make this game shine as BoB pointed out. Not only can you take its beauty even further, as far as your rig can go, but huge sections of imperial provinces have been added, some of them highly rated like Valenwood, Black Marsh, Elsweyr, High Rock and Hammerfell.

It had a couple of good quests and Shivering Isles was a pretty good expac; it wouldn't make my Top 100 though I don't think.
