    Spices!

What are your go-to spices that you use while cooking?

Johnny's Seasoning Salt is a big one for me with meat. I don't think I make chicken or beef or anything without it. Garlic salt, garlic powder and onion powder are probably the very next ones and I always always always use lemon pepper on fish.

Lavender is delicious spice to use on everything from ice cream to chicken filet. Ever had Lavender chicken? Delicious.

I like to use McCormick's Fiesta Citrus on chicken and beef if I'm making tacos (I also use sliced fresh jalepeno, onion, and garlic). It's salt free. And McCormick's Italian Blend if I'm doing a few specific Italian-type dishes.

I also like Adobo (it's a brand of meat flavoring - usually found in the Mexican aisle)..

Otherwise, I try to use minimal seasoning - salt & pepper & butter - which, as Michael Symon says, is all you need.
