Tara and I have plans to get a cat after she's been here for a little while. We may have to get two though because our tastes in cats are completely different. She wants a ginger cat and I don't really like ginger cats and want a persian. We'll sort something out.

Shop is beyond sweet and snuggly and all that ish, but the whole litter box & shedding thing is pretty off-putting. Plus she's kinda ugly. Whatever.
Tried changing her name, but my kid decided it should stay "Shop". gag.
I have a tortoiseshell named Zizi and a black kitty named Balthazar (but I call him Night Fury sometimes).
I love calicos and I've had them mostly my whole life as "my" cat when we were growing up and my sisters and I each had our own pets. Torties seeeem like calicos to me, though. They're close enough.

I don't know breeds of cats but I love em!
That's my demon kitty I live with now.
I love cats, they're adorable and they don't make the entire house stink like most of the dogs I've ever known do.
The other day I saw one about a block away from my house without a collar on. I went to say hi (because that is what I do with cats) and noticed that her whole tail was matted and covered with burrs and some sort of piece of rope. She also seemed quite thin. So I ran back to my house, grabbed a cat carrier, ran back, and bribed her into the carrier with some cat treats. Then I took her to the shelter where they're going to see if she has an owner. If she doesn't, I'm first on the adoption list
