Best Avatar!
A members avatar is a good way to identify them. Sometimes you don't know the person well, or what they look like, but you can see their avatar. And since avatars are chosen by the individual, it stands to reason that their avatar says something about them. Let's take a look at the nominees for best avatar and what their choice in avatar says about them.
Aulayna
Aulayan's avatar looks great. It's from Final Fantasy XIV, which fits in great on the forum, especially with all of the hype that XIV is getting right now. It shows just how well she fits into the forum, and especially matches her well written articles on her impressions of the game. I actually really love this avatar.
Goldenboko
Goldenboko's avatar is of what looks to be a drunk and/or crazy singing knight. Aside from the knight part, that probably describes him pretty well. It's also humourous and Goldenboko is a funny, amusing guy to talk to.
Loony BoB
BoB has had the same avatar forever and a day. Apparently this avatar shows off how stubborn he is, because back in the old forum days, newbies were required to use certain avatars until they reached 15+ posts. But BoB decided the 15+ post avatars were crap and he wanted to keep his chocobo one. So he complained until the rules were changed and he was allowed to keep it. Today BoB is a very important member to the forum. I think his avatar shows his resolve and dedication to the forum. Plus chocobos are awesome.
Pantz
I asked Rantz why he picked this avatar and he said because of Mal's beautiful face. That is a handsome face on his avatar. Maybe its a ploy to get us to think he's really that handsome. Which I'm sure a lot of members familiar with his face would say he is.
Pike
Pike's avatar is the Mascot for the Fallout series. I think it's appropriate she would have a gaming avatar since she enjoys video games a good deal. He also looks like a happy fellow and pike is a nice, happy robot that I very much enjoy talking to. She's always nice and has a good sense of humor. Overall a fitting avatar.
Raistlin
I asked Raistlin about his avatar and was told that Pimp Unne is a classy, smartly-dressed fellow who doesn't take guff from anyone. He has a thriving business in Melmond, pimpin' out a lot of hot humans, elves, and the occasional fiend. He also said some things about Shlup that tie in well with his custom rank. I could go into more detail, but this pretty much explains what we need to know.

Well the impression we get here is that I love Kirby and telling people to stfu. The first part is true, but the second is not. I actually hate to swear. But I couldn't help but post up this adorable pic of Kirby looking so innocent as he tells others off. Also, the pink matches my custom rank.
