It's that time! The votes are in and have been tallied up. A special thanks to the voters who took time to recognize the time and effort that went into putting these speeches up! We truly had some awesome ones this round. I look forward to seeing what the good members of this forum come up with for our December round of Ciddies.

Congratulations to Del Murder and to smittenkitten on recognition for their speeches this year! Third place is almost as good as first, in my opinion. Not quite, but close enough.
Moving on to second place, this was indeed quite the favorite among voters and tied for first place for a while before some straggler voters submitted their favorites.
Second place goes to...
A well-deserved spot in the top three (four, technically) for the amazing video speech we received this year. Did you get a look at that sexy bod? Did you? Go watch it again. Congratulations, Jiro!
This brings us to the favorite speech this year. Time and dedication went to all the speeches that were submitted to the Ciddies, but I personally feel like this one had just a bit more of extra care and thought that went into it to make it as perfect as it was.

While the revelations were going on in #eoff, Award Pimp directed us to the forums thread to read the posted speech. Each and every person went in there to read it at the time and each and every person switched back into chat and commented on what a heavy and thought-provoking, appropriate speech it was. For how well it was written, for how accurate and for how creative it was, without a doubt, these words of hers deserve top recognition. Congratulations to Calliope!
Congratulations and well done to the folks who received recognition for favorite speeches among the masses. To those of you not mentioned in the top three here, please do not be dismayed. Your work has not gone unnoticed and we truly thank you again for making the Ciddies what they were this year. Again, I look forward to seeing what the amazing writing crew we have on these forums pulls together with in the next round of awards.

I didn't get around to voting but the right choices were made anyway. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality, and this is me, so you know it was good. All of you people that were lacking confidence now know that you are champions in this field and can make magic. The rest of you have a chance to prove yourselves next time
