Have you ever been in one?
Have you ever been in one?
Small ones. Nothing to scar this stunning face of mine.
I was in a five-car accident! It was heavy rush-hour traffic. Let's number me and the 4 cars behind me as car 1 through car 5. So we're all fairly close together, cars 1-3 are stopped. Car 4 comes up behind at too high of a speed for the traffic conditions, rear-ends car 3, who rear-ends car 2, who rear-ends me. Then, apparently, this jerk backs up and hits car 5, behind him.
I was by far the luckiest person involved in the accident, as my car had minimal damage (dented rear bumper) and I wasn't hurt at all. I was able to drive away, but cars 2-4 at least weren't able to (idk about car 5). I think someone got taken away in an ambulance, too.
I was in my aunt's van that was rear-ended when I was a kid. and I was t-boned at an intersection when I was 18.
Being rear-ended is never nice, and especially not without protection.
Been in a couple that I didn't cause, but nothing too bad or even anything that caused me to sustain minor injuries.
Scary as ****, though.
I was in several car accidents. One was pretty serious, I had to be in the hospital and ended up with some scars on my arm (which have now been replaced by scars for another reason). This same accident had my little brother in a coma for several weeks, and he had rehab to learn how to walk and talk and all that. Luckily for him, he's still around and such.
A minor one, living up in the northwest of pa there's a lot of snow and ice, and I went sliding down a pretty steep hill all the way into the back end of a car.
if it hadn't been for a hat and a seat belt i probably would have gone through the windshield
now safe beneath their wisdom, and their feet;
here i will teach you truly how, to sleep.
Two and a half. None of them were serious, all of them resulted in mild fright and talking points. I wasn't driving at any point which I think is the main reason they happened.
I was hit by a cop once. I was about 17 years old, and driving to visit my dad for the weekend. I was the first in line at a 3-way intersection; I was on the main highway, with the "T" portion curving around behind a hill so that you couldn't see very far down that road. I was on the side of the highway closest to the T. Moments before the light turned green, a cop with its siren on came running through the opposite direction down the highway. Then the light turned green. I started going through the intersection. When I was at least 2/3 of the way through, I felt a crash, as a cop (also with his siren on) came running through the red light down the T-road, and slammed into my rear-passenger door. Between the other cop siren and my radio being on a moderate volume, I hadn't been able to tell there was a second cop car approaching (it turned out there was a false alarm at a local bank, so cops were coming out of the woodwork), and I couldn't see very far down the T before entering the intersection.
I was able to drive away, but there was thousands of dollars in damage, and needless to say as a 17-year-old kid who had only been licensed for less than a year, it was terrifying at the time. No one was injured, fortunately.
Only parking accidents.
