The only song I knew from The Dillenger Escape Plan was this one. Not so sure I like the style of the song you suggested.

I guess I do like a lot of variety, I worry I drive the GF crazy with my music tastes. Still, I have a soft spot for metal. I really think metal is the new jazz as far as expression, creativity, diversity, and depth.

I've really just scratched the surface of what's floating around the playlist, plus there's a lot of other folks here with a ton of suggestions I probably don't even know about. I've learned about great stuff too!

You sound a lot like me. XD I like a lot of diverse stuff, from mainstream pop to the most underground metal. If I can move my head to it and appreciate the lyrics or musicianship then I'll like it.

Not really a fan when the bands are playing songs about castles and kings and conquerers and such. I don't know why but they all sound the same to me.

Btw, don't be insulted by my evaluations, those just don't really match my style. For most of them, the music was good when the singer wasn't singing !
