I sort of have yeah. I think we're something like 4-5 episodes in? I forget. I haven't kept up with it as much as she has, but I'll try to remember to nag her to check the thread sometime. She's sleepin'.

I've gotten back into it and am currently watchign season 5. I do feel that sometimes they have too many branching paths. I personally don't care much for the Ifrit and Alcide's pack.

Alcide's pack has very much been taking the back-burner this season. Which both makes me happy and makes me sad. I'm not a huge fan of TB werewolves, but I've always loved Alcide. Until this season. Pack Master has made him an ass.

I read an article that since they are new showrunners this season, they're trying to cut out all of the side story lines and/or get it back to Classic True Blood when all of the story lines we building up to come together towards the end (as opposed to current seasons.)

I've actually loved this season so far. Campy? Yes. But I'm loving what's going on with Eric's storylines. All the other story lines can smurf off, to be honest.

I'd like this show a lot more if it didn't have so many different kinds of supernatural beings. I like a number of the characters, but one thing I don't like is how the writers always tend to find a great way to change a great character into a crap one.

The boyfriend and I have been working our way through the seasons. We're on season 4 now. Eric just lost his memory! I have seen all of season 4 but stopped at 5 so after this season it'll be all new for me.

Season 4 spoilerI love when he eats Claudine that bitch and then gets drunk/high. Lolololol. And he slaps Sookie on the ass and she's just like WHAT THE smurf ARE YOU DOING???

I didn't care much for season 4 for the witch coven story, though. Although Bill as King of Louisiana is just smurfing amazing.

Season 6 has been really, really good this season. As I said before, they're trimming the fat with stories that go nowhere and have no significance to the plot, which is really, really nice. Best season since season 3.

I think she's half-black, but I was definitely thinking the same thing when I was watching today's episode! She has a really wide face and almond-yet-pointy eyes of a Native American.
