US Government Recognizes League of Legends' LSC as Sport - IGN
Here's a citation for it, I guess. I think it's cool that the process is made easier for people from outside of the US to come play in a video game tournament like this. I wouldn't call gaming a sport, but maybe classifying it as one for the acquisition of sports visas was just the easiest way to make the process of travelling easier. I don't really know how that sort of thing works, though.

Monopoly should be considered a sport then.
Stuff gets competitive in my house when Monopoly is played.
