I don't know much about the similarities except for empanadas and such. I guess Filipinos just made some things catered more to their tastes. But I also know that Mexican menudo is very different from Filipino menudo. And there is no spiciness in our food. At all. Sweet chili sauce for the lumpia doesn't count. XD

And adobo seasoning? What?
It's. Adobo. Seasoning.

From what I know, Goya is a Puerto Rican brand. But my boyfriend had it in his pantry when I moved in. I've used this a great many times as it's been a staple in my household since like '07.

And yeah. That's what I was talking about in general. Like there are quite a few words for dishes that are the same in Mexican & Filipino cooking, but they're different. Like the menudo thing. Mexican menudo is made with like pork feet & intestines, hominy, and other things. IDK how Filipino menudo is made. And now I'm curious to know.
