Pokemon meets Final Fantasy

Seeing that we are having a Pokemon pandemic on the forums this week with all the signature and avatar changing into Pokemon. I figure there should be a Pokemon crossover artwork to start this showcase off with, so here is one! It features the First Generation Pokemon in some of the roles from the first Final Fantasy game. Quite neat.

Ifrit

Ifrit is such a badass of a Guardian Force in Final Fantasy VIII, and no doubt this art shows Ifrit's badassery. Job well done.

We end this week's showcase with this nicely drawn picture of Yuna done with markers and colored through the magic of Photoshop. I really enjoy the artist's spin on Yuna's design here! It looks very nice.

I am laughing hard at that pokemon crossover. How apt that it features this week. I also liked the Ifrit drawing!

The Pokemon one is probably my favorite, though Ifrit is also well-done. But what an awful party setup; really, Fighter, Black Belt, Thief, White Mage? Hopefully Charmander and Squirtle can keep those other losers alive...

I think the Poke'mon-Final Fantasy crossover was very unusual but creative. As for the twisted TerraXKefka pics, I liked them both!

I don't, actually. I haven't played any of the games since Red/Blue when they were first released, back when I was about 10 years old.

Though in that case, shouldn't the FF classes be post-class change? That Pikachu (or whatever form) looks decidedly Thief-like instead of a Ninja!
