If you're not enjoying an anime that people are saying is wonderful then you should try a technique a buddy of mine just mentioned: watch the episodes in VLC at 2x speed.

I have a better technique. It's called "watching something else".

Some people really don't want to be ridiculed on their (lack of) taste, and also are unable to lie and/or don't know how to look up series synopses on the internet
