I can understand why this is a thing, because sea captains are out to sea a lot, so you have to find a significant other that is either cool with you being out there for a long time or wants to give up the landlubber's life and travel with you. But at the same time, to someone who's not a sea captain (or searching for a sea captain), the site looks very silly. Especially because the sea captain they have as an example is a VERY STEREOTYPICAL LOOKING sea captain.
