Favorite and Least Favorite Monsters

Who were your favorite and least favorite monsters to fight in this game?

I am particularly fond of T-Rexaurs, Ruby Dragons and Bombs, especially as your strength and XP increase. These bastards get harder and harder and the Bombs are especially little bitches because of their kamikaze suicide play. I find then challenging, but that's also why I like to fight them.

Malboros are the absolute worst and I hate them with every inch of my soul.

Every time I hear the FFVIII Malboro's battle cry I'm like, "really? That noise came out of that thing? Is that what those are supposed to sound like?" It sounds like someone tried to scream mid-vomit.

Belhelmels freak me out, and I think a Geezard would, too, if I saw one in real life. Propagators initiate battle by running at you really fast and that scares me.

I like the Slappers from Galbadia Garden. It's a shame they're really easily missable.

I know he's a GF boss, but I do want to say I've always loved fighting Diablos. Actually, Sacred and Minotaur were always fun just to read their banter too.

My favorite monsters to fight are probably Ruby Dragon, T-Rexaur, Tiamat, and Snow Lion.

Only monster I didn't like was Malboro like everyone else. It is just annoying unless you can manage a Degenerator attack.

You know, I had Diablos in my mind when I started this thread! You can throw in boss fights, why not.

My least favourite monster to fight was BGH251F2 (Iron Clad). I didn't train well enough for that fight first time around (ie. Quezacotl wasn't strong enough) and I didn't Draw enough to make my health high enough to withstand Beam Cannon.

The noise that attack makes still haunts my nightmares.

Favourite monster...I'mma say Grendel, followed by Blue Dragon.

Least Favourites - Bite Bug.. ugh so many times at the start

T-Rexaurs are awesome. The feeling of defeating it the first time was magnificent.

I liked the spider-bot in Dollet, it's smurfing kickass. Mechas are awesome.

I hate a lot of the Esthar-related enemies though, they suck :/

Least favorite: Wendigo. Smurf those guys, they are annoying.
