The ice cream debate!
The ice cream debate!
Ben and Jerry's is like either the best or second-best thing to come out of Vermont. Other thing in the top 2 is REAL, PURE maple syrup. Sorry Bert, you're #3
I don't give a trout, it's all ice cream. So I chose the bottom choice.
To be honest, I'm more inclined to go with Ben and Jerry's based on their varieties of flavors. But Haagen Dazs has goddamn good coffee ice cream.
On the rare occasions when I want ice cream, I don't want weird, complex, intermingled flavors. I certainly don't want streaks of cherry and caramel or something ruining it.
What I value is simplicity and quality, and so of course I will never buy either of the brands mentioned above. Sorbets are usually better than ice creams anyway. The best "ice cream" I've ever eaten, by a substantial margin, was black cherry-nectarine ice.
Cold. Stone. Creamery.
Alternatively, the Tillamook Creamery. You thought they just made cheese? Pah!
My favorite major brand of ice cream is Breyers, either the chocolate or Reese's peanut butter cup flavors. Both of the brands in the poll are quite good, but nothing exceptional.
Although some of the best (albeit pricey) ice cream ever can be found at Springer's in southern New Jersey.
Never heard of Haagen Dazs so voted for the Ben and Jerry one.
Haagen Dazs sounds like a Final Fight character.
Golden Gay Time forever. Alternatively, Cold Rock is pretty good, but I don't know they probably get ice cream from somewhere else.
