Phil and I have such different tastes in music, we don't really have a 'song'

I have songs that make me think of him, and he has songs that probably remind him of me.

Funnily enough Shiny, we both also like that Hall and Oates song! (Probably because of 500 Days of Summer)



I've mentioned before that the Kimbra song; Two Way Street, makes me think of him, and when I first started talking to him. Probably not so much now because I'm not just having a crush on him. Well, I do still have a crush on him, but you know It's the line "and there's no conspiracy, behind the way two hearts meet" that really, I feel sums us up. At the time of meeting him, I was really confused of my feelings - did I like him? What is this? But then I just kind of rolled with it, I liked him and that was enough really. I didn't want to overthink it - he was making me happy and excited! "I think I'm ready, to let you get under my skin." Kind of describes that feeling of - I'm just gonna roll with it.



Totally cheesy, totallllllyyy cheesy. But it's so me! I think of myself as a little bit of a diva sometimes, and this really sums up how happy and excited Phil makes me every day. The lyrics are so simple, the song is so simple, but I just utterly adore it. The first time I ever heard this song it was like musical sunshine to me, and Phil is like my sunshine, so yeah. Very much describes how I feel about him, through and through.

I guess this is more something that makes me think of Sarah, but I've come to think of it as our song next to The Gambler.
