This has been a very mixed and varied week, with many upon many new and exciting threads just ready to be plucked from the fresh soil. We've once again had more Summer birthdays, but we have also had plenty of interesting threads. The MogTrivia is drawing to a close after almost an entire week of intense answering, while we have a very useful new Adoption service for our wonderful newbies that have been joining our community recently!

• Love her or loathe her, Lightning (the character) has been hitting the headlines with force over the last few weeks and this latest announcement of 'boob physics' as it's being touted has sent some EoFFers into uproar. Together with the earlier news of the Miqo'te DLC garment, this has prompted one of our editors, Raistlin, to give his take on the entire issue and it's exploded into quite the debate!
• Next, an adoption program with the friendliest foster parents you'll ever meet! That's right, Siren, Doomtrain, Bahamut, Alexander, Ifrit and Shiva will be taking under the wing new fledgling members to our community! We'll be showing them the ropes and giving advice as to how to get involved! If you're new here, then take a gander to our Adoption Thread to get clued up! I'm actually Alexander, and I'd be happy to adopt you, just like the rest of the Guardian Forces!
• The MogTrivia week is drawing to an intense climax and it looks like it's a close race between Karifean and Espritduo! It's been jolly good fun throughout and there will be future quizzes in the future!
• How Hipster Are You? It's a serious question. It's an epidemic that is sweeping across the world, and has now breached this peaceful EoFF community. Tifa's Boobs, a prominent member, was worst hit with a Hipster rating of 71%, but others aren't faring much better. You should get yourself tested. Thankfully, the cure is to do absolutely nothing because many of our members haven't the foggiest why they have such a high score in the first place.
• I don't often link to the Weekly Art Showcase ran by Agent Proto (never, actually) but this weeks' art has impressed me to such a degree that I cannot help but link it here. The level of detail in all of these is simply astounding. Look at the Tifa artwork: words cannot describe it's beauty. The one down from that: humorous and cheeky at the same time. And the others are just as brilliant too! Honestly, if all you do is just briefly look at the showcase every week, take an extended viewing this time. You'll be glad you did.
• With July over, our book club is ready to read another book! It's not too late still to suggest books, and Summer is just the time to go reading. It's nice outside, and reading outside is the perfect accompaniment to catching those rays!
• Finally, how about a small game? What's the best horror story you can come up with in two sentences? It's a cute game that could boost your creativity! And talking about writing skill, Shorty is also running a Writing Prompt program, designed to get both budding and developed writers get their penmanship mojo!
  
  

  I quite like the EoFF Adoption Program. I just like that someone is trying so hard to welcome newbies and to keep them wanting to come back. The GF theme is a really clever way of making it Final Fantasy related to get people interested in both participating as a GF and as well as by participating as a newbie.

What I recommend Shion Guardian Forces doing is point our charges to the Community Update. No, it's not shameless self-promotion, but my Community Update is a good way to get them up to date with threads and whatnot.
