Why no dagger class?

Yoshi-P has already said that a scout-type class is a priority. Expect the next class introduced to be something like rogue which will have thief as an associated job.

They said that there are plans to introduce at least one new job in a major patch before the first planned expansion, but I'd imagine that the expansion which introduce a new class or two (we'll probably get second jobs for each class by then as well).

I'd really love a thief or ninja class that strictly deals with stealth as a major gameplay mechanic.

Stealth in an MMO would be super interesting. I also love being the sneaky sneakster.

Originally it was pugilist that was supposed to be a blend between FFXI's monk and thief jobs.
