Summer can't get over soon enough! I'm one of those people who is tempted to move to northern Alaska for the summer.

As far as getting anything done before the snow arrives, however, the only things I can think of are meeting anyone within a fairly short driving distance (say four hours at most), but there are very few of those that I know of. And some of them are uncooperative at best.

Yep, I get cold easily and sixty is cold to me with wind chill. It's also August and sixty is not supposed to happen in the day. Global warming my ass.

If it makes you feel better, skinny jeans pretty much just look terrible regardless of who is wearing them.

Summer is officially over because on the 20th of August, I got my first Christmas catalogue thingy of the year.

I can't wait for summer to be over so it can actually cool down to liveable sub-80 temperatures again.

Granted, then it's only a matter of weeks before the snow kicks in BUT

We went to this park that I didn't know about here in Clarksville and there's a swimming hole there.

And you can camp. And people get tanked there. And there's a rope swing, grills, a playground...

I'm determined to camp there for a night with Parker so that we can swim.

We didn't know you could swim there, so we all rolled up our pants & got in.. and I rubberbanded P's tank top up over her belly so she wouldnt have to get completely wet .....

We're going back in the morning so we can all get a proper swim.
