    Default Let's settle!

Final Fantasy VI has a pretty realistic world for the most part. But there are some things that are hard to get your head around.

Like, where the smurf are any of them getting water from? You see wells in a couple towns, but did nobody think to build a town near a goddamn fresh watersource?

Vector is the worst. Vector, hub of an entire Empire, has, like, nothing. You can't start a city there. It's impossible.

Why do you think Ghestal was such a war monger? He needed resources like food and water!

It just seems odd that places like Miranda are mentioned as falling to the Empire when they really needed them to even think about starting Vector in the first place. It's in the middle of a goddamn island with no visible source of water. I don't even think there's a well anywhere near all that iron and steel. Vector is a gross city

Vector probably had a trade agreement with Albrook, Tzen and Miranda prior to taking them over. Additionally, Vector has several signs of rapid industrialization with no regards to it's effects, so conditions there were not as bad as they are now.

Side note, Vector would also smell terrible.

I feel like the stench tries to escape through the screen whenever I am there. It just looks gross. Where are the TREES man?! You're right, though; it probably developed quite rapidly post-Esper discovery.

The trees are DEAD. Geshtal would stop at nothing for power, and gave his city and his people up for it.

Sadly Figaro suffers from a similar problem. It's just that they're less of an evil bunch of assholes.

I do agree there need to be more rivers, and hence riverboats as well.

Vector obviously taps into a large, underground aquifer Jiro.
