Time for a somewhat vague topic.

While surfing the Sunken City in Journey I couldn't help but feel like somehow this is the closest feeling to snowboarding I ever witnessed in a game or any other medium for that matter. It even beats actual snowboard games in my opinion! So free, solitary, such awe and such one-ness with the environment, so good!

Tell me about moments in gaming that almost creepily resembled a real life experience, be it either abstract or sim-like. I am curious

I was drawing pictures of the monsters I would put in Super Mario 2, and I had seen the commercial with Mouser. Obviously, the commercial did not state the name of the character. I also came up with the "Crazy Bullet Bill" that flew in a loop-de-loop.

I decided to name the big mouse with the sunglasses "Mouser." I was pretty shocked to find out that's what it was called. And Mario 3 ended up having the "Missile Bill," which flies in horizontal circles to home in on Mario.

I was pretty weirded out.
