    Default The Elder Scrolls Anthology

Bethesda have announced, at the start of QuakeCon, the release of The Elder Scrolls Anthology, which collects the series in one collection for the PC. It will be released on 10th September and will be priced around $79.99. The box includes

    The Elder Scrolls Arena
    The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall
    The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
    • Tribunal
    • Bloodmoon
    The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
    • Knights of the Nine
    • Shivering Isles
    The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
    • Dawnguard
    • Hearthfire
    • Dragonborn
Along with 5 physical maps of Tamriel, Iliac Bay, Morrowind, Cyrodiil, and Skyrim.

I for one will be keeping my eye on this, but what do you guys think? Many of you will already have at least one copy of one of these games. But are you torn between not getting it or forgetting that you already have them to have a copy of this lovely collectors piece? (I'm looking at you Pike)
I made one myself for a change! Although you can probably tell that..

I will buy this. I have copies of the latest three games, but I have none of the expansions and PC is the superior system to play them on. Perfect. Can't wait to try Arena and Daggerfall for the first time too.

They see me rolling. They hating, patrolling.
Trying to catch me riding dirty.

Sure thing Dave, you'll have to swing by mine to pick it up though! It'll be my first time playing Morrowind, so I'll look forward to it

Got the last three with expansions (just ordered skyrim legendary ^_^) and the first two are shareware but hot damn is that a sexy bundle. I might buy the maps from someone off ebay or something...

I only own Oblivion & Skyrim's standard games, so maybe after I'm married I can consider buying this kinda stuff. Maybe!

I'm actually rather disappointed that none of the sidegames are included. Where's Redguard? Shadowkey? Battlespire? Dawnstar? Stormhold??

I'm considering picking this up anyway because it looks lovely and it comes with two maps that I don't have already. But really, Bethesda, gimme my sidegames!

I've always wondered why there are so many people willing to pay for copies of games they already own. I mean, you could buy every game on this list individually for less than $80 total, although then you wouldn't have the burden of physical media.

Considering only half of it is worth playing..

The maps would be useful if ever I wanted to run a P&P game in Tamriel, though..

Physical media is never a burden. It is glorious and should never be substituted

I've always wondered why there are so many people willing to pay for games. I mean, you could just download every game on the list individually for less than any money whatsoever, although then you wouldn't have the burden of legally owning the game.

Fortunately for you, that one is extremely easy to figure out. Some people have ethics, so they pay for them instead of downloading them.

Fortunately for you, yours is also extremely easy to figure out. Some people are collectors, so they pay for things they might already have in order to obtain things that they do not already have.

Also the whole ethics of downloading argument is boring and false.

That looks awesome. I don't have Oblivion at all nor any of the expansions for Skyrim so I might get it.
