This, my friend, is why you need to be more positive not only for yourself, but also for those around you. You can do these things, so if things aren't going well, stay positive - sometimes you'll just beat it the next day!

To Chime in on Ultima versus Garuda, I definitely think Ultima is the harder fight just because there is so much more randomness. Garuda is pretty straightly scripted. But in Ultima there's a lot of stuff you can't plan for exactly.
There are random elements in Ultima? I find Ultima & Garuda to be about the same difficulty, though Garuda is overall probably more recoverable.

- Cleared T4 on Sat (or Sun?) after much suffering then again yesterday with only a couple of wipes! I don't want to say we have it in the bag just yet but we got so much better at it.

Positioning of Ifrit, magitek lasers, etc. are somewhat more random than anything in the Garuda fight. Nothing crazy, but just enough to give people grief. There's really nothing like that in the Garuda fight. You don't have to be immediately reactive to anything in the fight. You just need to go exactly where you need to go every time and nothing is going to suddenly make you run somewhere else.There are random elements in Ultima? So, when I left A Realm Reborn (Not really an MMO guy, so I never expected to stay to long. It's well made enough though. :P), Face was so sure I'd be coming back, saying he'd save all the money I dumped into the group bank (It wasn't really all that much) for when I got back.

Hah! I did the same thing my first time through, and with a Mor Dhona /shout PUG nonetheless. I got my comeuppance when I finished off my white mage and actually had to learn the fight, though. Now I can basically do Titan HM & EX in any role in my sleep, but I still enjoy doing them when I'm with a good group.
