Tis my favourite place in the game, in Outer La Noscea, and it surely is a Stardust Atma.
The place looks amazing at night!

I've had a particularly rough time at Atma farming. I got some on accident early on. I went 1/1 on one randomly while doing the main story. I much later got one 1/3. My 3rd I got while doing my daily quests. But then... it took me 16 hours across 3 days to get my drop in Southern Thanalan. I'm currently around 5 hours in Upper La Noscea without a drop.

I now have the Craftsmanship materia, Control materia, Recipes and Tool required to do BSM 3 star recipes. Shame about the material cost. xD However, I have the Craftsmanship materia, Control materia, Recipes and only need to add "Tool" to that for the CRP 3 star recipes. I'm working on making the materials so I can get the tool to allow me to do that, too, which will mean I can make my very own Summoning Bells for housing fanatics.
After that... ARM or GSM, probably, if I have the gil.
