How can you make an analogous post? Gangnam Style is a standard pop song with a satirical twist. Please explain how it relies on non-sequiturs and random noises to gain attention. The Korean language may sound like random gibberish to you, but you might be surprised to find that it actually does carry semantic value.

Harlem Shake, sure, 99% of the user-submitted videos were people trying too hard to be random, but the select few that were hilarious. Hell, I would've allowed the entire phenomenon to happen simply for "Harlem Shake: The Black Version" to exist on youtube. The Star Wars one with a working R2D2 and full Admiral Piett costume also comes to mind.

Cool snide remark about troutposting, though.
