i'm not that much of a grinch once december hits. but it's august and christmas is 4 months away! there's still the all-important halloween (and for americans, thanksgiving) to get through before we should be thinking about christmas

I don't really see that as that big of a deal. People are starting to buy gifts now while certain things are cheaper. If you're making crafts, you start now.

I'm all for people buying gifts in anticipation of Christmas for deals and stuff (heck, it's forward thinking), I just don't want Christmas themed stuff this early.
