I don't understand why it's such an issue for women.

If the seat is down, men have to put it up? Does it really matter either way? If you see it up and you need to go, put it down. Takes literally less than a second.

Denmark leaves the seat up and I don't care. The only couple of times it's bothered me is when I've woken up in the middle of the night, mostly asleep, and then fall butt in. But it's kind of funny too.
