If you can't watch it in 3D it would absolutely still be worth seeing in 2D. It just makes the best case for seeing a movie in 3D that I've ever seen.

There were only two movies I felt were worth watching in 3D. Life of Pi and How to Train Your Dragon. Not even Avatar was worth it. This may be the third, but like Shorty I hate wearing the 3D glasses over my regular glasses. So awkward.

Should I still watch this movie given that I believe that 2001 is one of the 5 most overrated movies in the history of cinema?
It depends on what the other 4 are.

Yeah, we do need to gauge just how badly wrong you are before we can appropriately make a recommendation.
Well, I just said 5 to be on the safe side. The only movie more overrated than 2001 that I can come up with off the top of my head is Donnie Darko.
So am I the only glasses-wearer who has zero issues wearing 3D glasses over my regular glasses?
Honest question. It seems like a constant complaint but I've never had a problem with it. They fit just fine over my regular glasses.
Anyways this film was much better in 3D than Avatar was, IMO. I can't speak for Life of Pi, because I first saw it on a teeny-tiny in-flight entertainment screen when I was flying over the Atlantic Ocean. I wish I had seen it in 3D in the theater.
Yeah to be honest I never really notice an issue with having 3D glasses over my normal glasses. But then again the only films I went too in 3D were Glee (yes... mock me) and Avengers. But neither time did the additional pair of glasses cause any discomfort.
I've never had an issue with 3D glasses over my actual glasses, but I'd imagine comfort depends a lot on the size and shape of someone's head, and their glasses.
I dislike putting things in my eyes.
Never had an issue putting 3D glasses over my regular glasses. Huh.
I like Kung-Fu.
I was wearing contacts when you were still in elementary school, grasshopper. I wore them for years and then decided they were a giant pain and not worth it.
Anyways back on topic, I'm sure it's still a very good watch in 2D, but the 3D really enhances the movie more than any other I've seen.
The glasses make me look smarter. And hotter.

I don't want to have to put in contacts to watch a movie.
