There is no bonus for not evolving it when you can. The only benefit to doing so is that you keep the learnset of the unevolved form.

I don't even think there are any evolutions that change the Exp Curve of the Pokémon (since doing so could potentially shift the Pokémon's level upon leveling up).

There is a bonus for using a traded Pokémon, though. And it's quite possible that there is an additional bonus for using a Foreign one.

I'm currently being incredibly ambitious and am going to try filling the entirety of my pokedex with each language's entries. I'm not trying too hard at the moment, not until Pokebank comes out and I buy a copy of X, but I'm still putting various mons aside and would appreciate if anyone gets any goodies off the WT for me!

My rules for what pokemon I want are pretty simple:
-Unevolved mons (Oddish, Quilfish, etc.);
-Mons that evolve via trading (Machamp, Scizor, Escavalier, etc.)
-Mons that evolve via stone, other than Leaf, Water and Fire (Raichu, Delcatty, etc.)
