My theory, or more of a wish really, is that the next time Daryl is in trouble Dwight will save him by saying "save that kill for me!". Like there's a small part of him that's still good and says "you saved me back in those woods, we're even now. Next time you won't be so lucky".
Also shout out to the Viserys Targaryen zombie. Eugene aint crackin that chrome dome.
So far the thing that I don't like about how they're introducing Neegan's gang is in the comics (SPOILER)Their interactions almost never included guns until the first actual assault on Alexandria. Most of their interactions involved hand weapons and it was a huge surprise to Rick and the gang when the Saviors finally started shooting back.
I wouldn't really say Carol has become meek again. I think she's just come to the realization that she doesn't like how much of a cold blooded killer she became and wants to stop. But she doesn't know if she can stop, especially if she stays with the people in Alexandria. Hence why she's trying to leave. She doesn't want to kill anymore but knows of she stays then she would eventually be forced to kill to protect them again. So she's willing to go and take her chances on her own rather than be in that position.
Im not saying I agree with her reasoning at all, but it's not meek to decide you aren't going to kill in such a world. It might actually be the hardest decision someone could actually make.
Yeah I definitely agree with Vivi. Carol hasn't gone full circle and become S1/2 Carol. It's very easy to go "yay Carol what a badass" when she's tearing up Terminus or casually shooting that woman in the head last week, but it's undervaluing the toll that would take on any decent human. She seems to have been influenced by Morgan's pacifism and he's certainly not meek either.
With that said, whether bailing on Alexandria was the best way to go about it is open to debate.
Also come on, how many times are we going to see our guys poncing about being idiots in the middle of nowhere, being surrounded and captured by a group of Saviors and then the Saviors getting massacred? Why are they even so scared of them when they're so hilariously incompetent? If anything the Saviors are the good guys because Team Alexandria is full of straight up murderers.
I don't know what's changed for me in this show but I find I don't really care about who dies anymore. In fact, if Daryl has died (which he probably hasn't) then the stupid bastard deserved it. Riding out on his own to hunt those guys is pretty smurfing stupid.
