So a couple of days ago at work I hear this old guy using an angry tone with the cashier. I look and he's refusing to sign for the insurance info. He thinks that by signing he is giving us permission to release his personal private information to "the whole world." The pharmacist in charge tries to diffuse the situation and explains that it's just okaying us to communicate his health information with his insurance company and no one else. He still refuses to sign. Pharmacist explains that if he wants the $20 copay he'll have to sign, or we can run it full price (over $200) and there will be no involvement of his insurance. That's no okay either. So the pharmacist says "well ok then why don't you just sign 'Peter Pan' and let's be done with this." I was thinking like "um is that ok for him to endorse." And he did it. The smurfer signed "Peter Pan" and left with his drugs for a reasonable price. Then he came back fifteen minutes later with the assistant manager who was like "sorry bro I feel bad for you but we have to comply and also I'm not even the boss of that guy." And so he threatened to call Fox News on us. Fox News will be very interested he says.
