I did it on 2nd try.

Most annoying sidequest for me would be... finding Deathguise on FF VI. It takes me so long to find it.

That's why it's annoying! It takes one or two tries to get the technique down, then it's all luck. It can take you two tries or ten million.

That one sidequest in 8.. The Obel Lake one. Finding the rocks isn't bad, but once you get to the rocks that don't tell the truth .. that's annoying. I know I've finished it before, but it was a long time ago.
