Really the sequels are a pain. The whole point of FINAL fantasy is that it is the last story of that world. Now I understood the tactics games all being set in the same world. That was easy cause of all the classes and stuff. but i really don't like this trend of sequels for the main entries. I honestly think if Lightning returns was instead a new cast instead of lightning, same story and mechanics, I think it would get a better reception. Fans are sick of the sequels to main entries. If they made new games rather than trying to expand the XIII story then we would be looking forward to FF XVII for versus now. Less cash grab more focus on quality numbered entries.
