So the other day I went into a music store and picked up a $350 Epi, and proceeded to shred like Van Halen???????????

How the hell did that happen, I asked myself...and then I realized, I've been using extremely high action (for slide) and a heavy touch for blues, but also practicing metal licks on the same instrument.

Having a well-set up instrument in my hands for the first time in ages, I just flew right out the window on the thing! I was shocked.

Ever have that experience when training? Like, you just out of nowhere suddenly did something totally awesome?
