Fallout New Vegas (and general Fallout) discussion

New Vegas is one of my favourite games ever. I did encounter a pretty major glitch my first time playing through it, though - I couldn't finish the game because the Legate would never come out of his tent. That was pretty sucky. xD

I just read that thread. And apparently there are heathens in the world who think the NCR are good guys?

On my first playthrough, when I wasn't trying to skew heavily to one side or the other on purpose, I ended up with the only reasonable and rational choice, which was to take things out of the hands of anyone but myself because they're all incompetent and/or unethical.

You can buy the Steam version for literally $3 when it's on sale. But if you'd really rather play the PS3 version, I'm sure there's probably a GOTY or something that fixes a lot of the bugs by now? I guess I don't know.

There's an ultimate edition but people still complain about it. Though maybe they're just annoyed fanboys being grumpy.

Caesar was right you fools! You need to take off your rose tinted glasses from your understanding of our current society and morals. Place yourself in the land of new vegas where there are random tribes just killing each other and fiends running wild killing whomever the like and doing what they please. You think the NRC can stop them? PPPPFPFPPFPFPFPFPT!!!!!! They have been in control of the area forever and have not made a dent in these problems. If anything everything is getting worse. Caesar would bring order and structure to mankind. The methods might be brutal but it is a brutal world. Things will evolve and become different after mankind is united under one banner. True to Caesar!

Fallout 1 & 2 are great. The Steam versions are buggy as hell so snag the GOG ones.

New Vegas was $20 at Gamestop so I bought it. Should keep me busy next week while Miriel is away. I'll update you guys on my progress!

Like Rantz, it is one of my favorite games and like Rantz, I encountered several major glitches (because I think we had the same copy). One of the worst ones was not being able to play Caravan because I got so good at it.
