I was going to pick Tuxedo Mask but than I remembered seeing one of our members with a TM avatar. They may not even use it anymore but I don't want people to be like "hey isn't that so and so's gimmick".

If I can remember who it was I'll check out their profile and see if they've moved on.

So I do believe it was Wolf Kanno. They changed their avatar and haven't posted for a few months. I think i'm in the clear.

HOWEVER! Although Jinx said to go with Tuxedo Mask, I asked Freya about this and she said to stick with Sailor Mercury.

In the anime, the Sailor Stars civilian identities were male, biologically so. They became female at transformation, so it works!

In the manga they were just girls crossdressing as guys. In the anime, they were still girls, in the sense that their true identity lies in their senshi-self, but their "civilian" identities were not only dressed as males but also physically male as well. Takeuchi was apparently not pleased by this change (essentially they went from transvestites, in the manga, to quasi-transsexuals, in the anime).

Maybe they just didn't want their main character to have a gay almost-relationship. I don't get it, since Uranus and Neptune are still gay in Stars since it never came NA-side, but whatever.
