I have always been a big fan of this series and was very excited to hear that the Uncut version was being released in the US. Of course I had to pick it up for Christmas. Really bummed that I have to wait until February for Part II of Season One but I know it will be well worth the wait. The best part is that I haven't seen the show in so long that it is almost like watching it for the first time again. Anyone else share a similar love for this series??

Yeah, i'm not sure why the idea to split seasons into parts is a good trend for companies lately. I'm sure it's a way to get more money from people, but I bet most viewers would like season 1 to just come out as a whole.

I definitely agree that it is the growing trend to get as much cash as possible, especially from a series of this caliber that they know has a huge following; people will spend the money. I was disappointed, however, because I really wanted to get the blu-ray edition but at almost seventy dollars for only part one I couldn't justify it. I also read a lot of negative reviews on the quality of the blu-ray release. It has been a real treat though because my friend that I am watching it with has never seen the Uncut version and she is loving it so much more with all of the content that wasn't in the English dub.

Not uncommon for BD to be beefed up and more impressive than the aired anime.
I need to get my hands on the bluray.
Argh what a super annoying place to end the episode.
Wow the BR looks significantly better. The animation quality doesn't seem that great when I started watching, and I also miss all the wacky expressions Usagi used to pull in the 90's version.
Today's episode may have been the best in the series so far.
