I feel sorry for the guy who was dressed as Jolteon though. The costume looked very warm and he didn't get to breathe for very long before somebody wanted him to put the head back on for another photo.

Awwhh, man. I want to go to Comic-Con so bad. Our local convention is nowhere near as spectacular.
We flew 3 hours to go to this Comic Con. Our local convention is pretty excellent also, but Benedict Cumberbatch was not going to that one so we decided the trip was worth it.

Did they think you were going to strangle Sherlock?
They were very protective of our dear Benny. No one was allowed to bring props in or anything. One of the cosplayers had a large staff and was told he had to leave it outside. His reaction, paraphrased: "What do they think I'm going to do? Beat him to death?"

(^ My very first best friend, who I haven't seen since like 1997, drove up to visit us.. We went to the Discovery Center and she put together the treat bags, like I mentioned in the Happy Thread. Parker -loved- her "Snakey"!)

I barely helped her pull the couch bed out, but afterwards, she practically shoved me into the bedroom of my dad's RV & would -not- let me come out until she was finished. She did everything on her own, including folding our individual blankets and putting our teddy bears on top. She's so sweet!)
