Special Effects Trailer for Lightning Returns: FINAL FANTASY XIII

To celebrate the Japanese release of Lightning Returns: FINAL FANTASY XIII, Square Enix have released a cool little trailer showcasing some of the special effects, landscapes, characters and costumes featured in the game.

This trailer is more of a show-off really, don't expect to see a sequence like this in-game.

The game will be hitting western shores on 11th February 2014 in North America and the 14th February 2014 in Europe. As we reported earlier this year, fans who pre-order now will unlock an exclusive Cloud Strife costume for Lightning, complete with Buster Sword, victory pose and the FINAL FANTASY VII Victory Fanfare music.

This trailer is more of a show-off really, don't expect to see a sequence like this in-game.

The sequences can be seen exactly like that in the story. Just not added together, of course. And except the speed, the black background and some stuff that is obvious.

Hopefully the trailers will support it enough to awake people's interest. As my posts show, I can only recommend it. It is funny, it has much you can do and it is stylish.

EDIT: Okay, a few things were additionally added but generally the scenery is like this as well as the style.
