I couldn't really get into F.E.A.R. It was fine as a horror game but the FPS aspects didn't really click with me. Then again, it did have the misfortune of coming out after Half-Life 2. Maybe I'll give it another go someday and see if my opinion changes. If I want a horror game these days I usually just play Amnesia for about five minutes, trout myself, then turn it off.
