Starbound

Early access sales for this have recently started on Steam (here in Ireland at least, dunno if it's been available for ages elsewhere yet)

The game looks like an interesting cross between Minecraft/Terraria coupled with some good old fashioned Metroid-esque 2D adventuring and platforming. Proceduraly generated planets, dungeons and all sorts in a timeless sprite art format.

I'll probably pick this up after Christmas, it looks great.

I will definitely get this, but almost certainly not for a while after release when it's on some Steam sale for a ludicrous price. I'm moderately excited about it.

The game is quite fun. It's basically Space Terraria. You can definitely tell it is in the beta stages.
