After more exploring of town Katherine finally decides to get on with the task she was assigned, climbing a long staircase she finds the door to the Vault.

There she finds a guard who tells her that he hasn't heard from any of the other guards sent in, and he's hearing weird noises but he can't go investigate, something about not leaving his post unmanned. What a coward. A little further in Katherine spies some folks, but wait, they aren't the guards, they're rebels!

After making quick work of the rebel scum she moves further into the vault, meeting more and more resistance from rebels, why are there so many, and more to the point, how did they get in? After another scuffle with some rebels near a campsite she finds an unattended backpack, and being a rogue she can't not steal all the stuff.

Going deeper and deeper into the vault the amount of rebels increases and now she knows why the guards weren't coming back. Blasted rebels killed them all.

And now she's really starting to worry, I mean if ther... oooh treasure!

*cough* As I was saying, if there are this many rebels, what could they be here for, and why are there so many dead rebels when she hasn't even killed them yet, in fact some have... bite marks? Oh dear.

Yep, the rebels totally work up the sleeping dead, and they don't care who they gnaw on, so it's every woman for themselves. After slogging through undead and rebels she finally makes her way to the end of the vault, only to see a couple of no good thieves trying to make off with the crown!

What's that noise? Oh... oh dear, it seems the looting of the thieves has awoken the Guardian of the Nine, and since it can't get to them, it's coming after her!

After a long drawn out battle with the Guardian and his skeletal minions Katherine can finally confront the thieves, only to find that they've already stolen the crown and are making their escape with a portal scroll.

Welp, nothing else to do here now that everything's dead and the thieves are gone, best to back to Knox and tell him what's going down, that shouldn't be a pleasant experience.

What's next for our heroine? Will she be punished for failing to stop the thieves, or will she be given another assignment? Only time (and the next update) will tell.

Sadly yes it is, given the small amount of buttons needed to play the game I'd like to see it on console (mainly because I could play with full graphics then). But since it's a free game, it'll never see console (Unless a big name company like Sony buys the rights from PWE).
