Jecht is a pretty awesome character despite kind of playing a background role. Like, not everybody can completely dupe the entirety of (Dream) Zanarkand into thinking there were more Sublimely Magnificent Jecht Shots. The guy was shrewd and talented and although he was a bit of a trout parent, he did love his kid and tried to look out for him even after he got smurfing teleported into another dimension.
