She let people nominate people who were active in the EoFF community even if they had no posts in the past six months (as I always did with chatters, even if they only chatted once), and she's cut the nominations the same way I did (if enough people got 3+ nominations, I would cut it at 3+). I genuinely see no issue.
In short, Tara has established the finalists in the same way I have done it for over a decade.
If you don't want the people with no posts to win, that's okay, because as supreme ruler of everything ever (before people start worrying that this is a new ego because I own EoFF: No, I was always this way), I would like to declare that you are officially allowed to vote for one of the other finalists for each of the awards. It's cool. You have a choice.

Umm, so anyway, I've been gone all day and only came here to point out that my husband is a trendsetter and you should vote for him! Or me, I guess. I'm pretty sure there are other custom ranks in this style that I've missed, too, it's always fun when a new one crops up:

It should be noted that my old usertitle, smitten by the kitten, was partially inspired by all those smitten/mitten/kitten things, too.
I have a sort of policy not to vote for user titles with colours and/or images, though... feels like they have an unfair advantage. D=
It should also be noted that Danielle may not be as active as some in the forums (she is still active to some degree as she has something like 24 posts in this Ciddies period) but she is possibly the most active person in the XIV linkshell (easily more than myself, not sure if she's more active than Dara or Val) and still pops into #eoff.

Mine isn't so much a title as a pledge, and it's been yellow for about a month and a half. So there! It's hardly an unfair advantage if all of the modifications are earned or won in competitions, but yes, everyone can have their own personal voting policy while you're still ironing out the last of your rules of dictatorship
Yeah, it's just me that applies to, definitely. If I had an issue with other people nominating/voting that way, I'd have done something about it yeeeeeeeeeeeears ago, back when we were doing this by pencil and paper in the Peer Mediators room in Waitakere College. xD

Hell, I'm not even nominated and mine is colored!
And I didn't even do anything to earn it other then trout talk Iceglow!
I forget who I was and was not talking trout too. I did that to a lot of people during that time.
Not, but seriously. My username was changed to lceglow (with a lower case L instead of an I) and then about a dozen of you blindly tossed trout at me because you were going to get a shiny coloured title. Always nice to know who I can count on
I had no Idea I would get a title for it. I just started the trout talk when things started going weird. XD
To be fair, everyone trout talks Iceglow on a routine basis so the dozen or so people probably just assumed they were still trout talking him.
Point in case I got rewarded with this shiny title for unsolicited trolling.
...You know, I sometimes question our community leaders priorities.
If we tell people to stop ripping into Iceglow, he complains.
...I think this may have actually happened. I'm not certain on the details.

It was very much solicited. Jiro had it coming! ...I can't even remember why he and I were duelling now, but the point is that we had some very important (possibly) issues to resolve that could only be done through abuse thrown at him en masse. If you had any better suggestions on how to resolve that issue you didn't present them to me at the time.
