I would have liked to contribute toward speeches this year, but I feel like I have my hands in a lot of pots right now and don't want to commit to something that I potentially cannot manage.

If you guys are really strapped, feel free to reach out to me and I will try to throw something together. Otherwise, I am going to have to pass this year. I am sure that the contributing speech-writers will do splendidly! We have a lot of talented writers here and I look forward to their creativity with this round of Ciddies.

It's important to remember also that there's still a good 16+ hours between voting closing and things kicking off, so you can get stuff done last minute. Just try not to leave it to the last minute.
