I always wondered why they didn't just bother looking in San Diego

For me, Sephiroth always intimidated me as a kid. I think, like, the legendary reputation he had and the music had a real effect. Obviously the whole "mommy's boy" thing people and his silly hair count against him as I grew up, but as a I kid I was really worried about the idea of facing him.
