What are some random movies that you don't hear get talked about much (for whatever reason, age, not enough publicity, etc) that you just love?

I love me some Jimanji and Hook. Damn that Robin Williams.

Watched Millennium Actress the other day and man was it excellent. Directed by the unfortunately passed away Satoshi Kon, what a legend.

He also made Paprika, another film hardly anybody knows but is phenomenal as well.

Paprika: the original inception. Also, jumanji is one of my favorite movies.

As for movies I would add, I would have to say Balto. No one I know has seen it.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is very good. Came across it on DVD out of the blue a while ago and was pleasantly surprised. I do prefer Planes, Trains and Automobiles though.

but that movie was an absolute dredge... AND YOU CAN'T KILL THE DREDGE THEY'RE PURE ENERGY! No seriously I liked it. I still got my friend's absolutely massacred DVD of it in my desk and it still plays somehow.

for me its Ultramarines. I am probably the only (and therefore the biggest, meanest and greenest) Warhammer 40K buff on this site, and lemme tell you... This movie is balls out ridiculous. It's terribly inconsistent with the lore, follows the worst space marines chapter, and is full of hilariously bad mis-steps and mistakes that detract from the movie. But by the Aardvark of Despair do I absolutely love this movie. Holy crap this gives me chills every time I don't care how bad it is I don't even.
