Str8 Pimpin'
For sure, PC's not so much as everyone has probably owned several in their lifetime but handhelds most definitely fall under the console umbrella.
Ownership means I can't include my neighbour's consoles, which I often relied on.I grew up on PCs, so have thrown them in... can't hurt.
PC (186/DOS)
PC (286/DOS/3.11)
PC (386/DOS/3.11)
PSX
PC (486/DOS/95)
PC (Windows ME)
PC (Windows XP)
PS2
360
PS3
PSP
GBA
DS
PC (Windows 7)
My neighbours were the ones who owned Master Systems, Mega Drives and Nintendo 64's during those times and I would regularly play on them, buuuuuut I never owned my own one.
We had other handhelds but they weren't major consoles... they only had in-built games, no cartridges.
Bow before the mighty Javoo!
My brother was the one who owned the NES, Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn and Sega Dreamcast that I got to play and/or watch him play on. I don't remember much about the Saturn and only a couple games stand out from the Dreamcast. NES and the Genesis is where most of my childhood moments come from before I started to own my own consoles.
So many twos...
I have no clue when I got my first PC or how many I have gone through.

I went from NES to Genesis/Megadrive to PlayStation and stuck with the brand through all 4 iterations. I also bought a N64 and Gamecube towards the end of each respective life cycle. I gamed on Mac very early on but have been PC since first getting one in the mid-late 90s.
On the handheld front I had one of the fat original Gameboys, then a Gameboy Color. I skipped the GBA but bought a DS when the Lite version came out and a 3DS earlier this year. I checked out the Sony side when the PSP Go released in 2011 and just got a Vita two weeks ago.

Jack: How do you know?
Will: It's more of a feeling really.
Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?
Will: No.
If Demolition Man were remade today
Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
Huxley: NO!
Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
Spartan: But Huxley.
Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.
By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.

With the exception of the systems traded in with intent to upgrade (and the one stolen 3DS), I still own everything else on that list. I'll go ahead and mark the ones I don't have any more in italics for easy recognition.
The crazy part? From number 12 onward, I've purchased (or won [DSi XL] or earned [PS4&XBO]) all of those systems myself. Yikes. :3
