Well the cap has to be lifted eventually. There'll be a time when there are about a dozen or so characters who are capped and people can't add anymore so they subtract. Then the next person adds again. This will continue forever. The cap was well intended, but poorly executed.

Yeah, I figure after a number of others are eliminated the ones capped will move on to the final round.

Yeah that's what I was going to do, or something like that. If it is just a bunch of capped characters, maybe start them off at 15 points piece or something to that effect.
